Exporting a .HAR file

From time to time, we may ask for a .HAR export from your browser when helping you troubleshoot an issue. This may provide additional information about what is causing your issue.

 

.HAR export in Microsoft Edge

  1. Navigate to CyberComply.
  2. In your browser window, click the three-dots icon in the top-right corner.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select More Tools.
  4. In the next drop-down menu, select Developer Tools.
  5. In the sidebar that opens, select the Network tab at the top.
  6. Ensure both Preserve log and Disable cache are ticked.
  7. Replicate the issue.
  8. Click the icon that has a downwards arrow with a horizontal line underneath and save the file to your device.

 

 

.HAR export in Google Chrome

  1. Navigate to CyberComply.
  2. In your browser window, click the three-dots icon in the top-right corner.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select More Tools.
  4. In the next drop-down menu, select Developer Tools.
  5. In the sidebar that opens, select the Network tab at the top.
  6. Ensure both Preserve log and Disable cache are ticked.
  7. Replicate the issue.
  8. Click the icon that has a downwards arrow with a horizontal line underneath and save the file to your device.

 

 

.HAR export in Firefox

  1. Navigate to CyberComply.
  2. In your browser window, click the three horizontal lines icon in the top-right corner.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select More Tools.
  4. In the next drop-down menu, select Web Developer Tools.
  5. In the bottom panel that opens, select the Network tab.
  6. Ensure Disable Cache is ticked.
  7. Select the Settings cog and tick Persist Logs.
  8. Replicate the issue.
  9. Select the Settings cog and click Save All As HAR to save the file to your device.
